US based Galaxy1 supports Point4 Satellite Application for vegetation Management
US based Galaxy 1 Communications are now supporting Point4’s satellite application to deliver the world’s first real time vegetation management system for “critical infrastructure”. This includes power line and telecommunication companies.
Following Inmarsat’s commitment to the project and giving Point4 access to satellite constellation, Galaxy 1 a BGAN M2M distribution partner of Inmarsat will provide comprehensive support and service to manage all geo spatial data captured in the field that updates Point4’s Risk Mitigation servers via Inmarsat’s BGAN satellite network.
As well as managing the data transmission account for Point4, Galaxy1 also provide in vehicle satellite comms on the move solutions from Hughes network Systems that allow data transmission in the most challenging environments.
