Thanks to Carmine Maffei and Arnaud Drapier for hosting me on Friday at the Leicester Innovation Hub (LIH) - it was a really useful and enjoyable visit. Whilst there, I attended a great presentation by Kirsten Robinson from the Satellite Applications Catapult. Kirsten briefed on 2 competitions currently available; the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ENSC) and the Copernicus Masters. The Copernicus Masters briefing was of particular interest given that Point4 is currently undertaking a 3-year ESA-funded demonstration project to prove the integration of Earth Observation (EO) data into our RiMiT vegetation risk management solution.
